I wear a size 6 and I was able to fit a pair of water shoes, a nice pair of sandals and a pair of flip flops inside one bag. I probably could have fit in another pair of sandals, def another pair of flip flops. I gave one to my cousin who wears a size 8 and she was able to fit a pair of sandals and flip flops with room for another pair of flip flops. The zipper is also smooth.These bags are way larger than my size 7 shoes, so if you have huge gators you'll be fine. I used 2 bags for shoes and sandals, another for vitamins/medicine jars, another for socks, bras, and undies.Regarding water resistance, I used one bag for a wet swim suit briefly and it did not leak.I can't account for the durability over time, but for this 5-week international journey where I was in and out of several bags testng the zippers over and over there were no problems.I love all of the colors of these bags. I purchased them because the shoe bags I used to buy are no longer available. This set comes in a great color scheme. I think it was a smaller set for the money vs prior purchases I've made but for 6 bags, still a good value. I found it odd that some of them had a different texture / material than others and some of the bags were smaller than others. That said, they are still big enough to fit my size 10 women's shoes inside. I'll try to remember to post additional info / update after our trip after I've washed them. I always expect that my travel cubes and shoe bags should be washable as I'm a bit of a germaphobe when it comes to staying in a hotel.I love those bags which I use for the different purposes, not only for shoes, e.g. I use to keep handheld vacuum. My recommendation - worth its money above and beyond.I take public transportation on my commuting days and sometimes my comfy sneakers don't cut it when I have a day full of client meetings or presentations so I needed to figure out a way to bring a change of shoes without looking like a bag lady. These cute bags can clip to my backpack via carabiner without too much added weight and easily hold both my heels/nicer shoes and my sneakers making my commute a little less cumbersome. My husband also used a bag in his suitcase and it fit his shoes too so I'm very happy with my purchase!This item is very well-made no rips tears and I love the beautiful designsMy husband and I have used these bags for shoes (will hold two to three pair sneakers easily) and overnight clothes. Very good quality at reasonable price. I highly recommend.I'm yet to use them for travel. Using them to store shoes at home and they seem very handy for that purpose. Seems durable and also the material is water resistant. The strap seems strong and should be able to hang the bag from wall even with 2 pairs of shoes in these roomy bags. Should come handy while traveling too. We liked it so far.
